NBC Sports will continue to televise the Ryder Cup and the Senior PGA Championship through 2014 in an agreement announced Monday.
Terms of the extension were not disclosed.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Jackson T. ``Jack'' Stephens, a financier and philanthropist who served as chairman of the Augusta National Golf Club for nine years, died Saturday at age 81.
Stephens Inc. spokesman Frank Thomas said Stephens died Saturday after suffering from declining health for some time. Stephens had a mild stroke in 1998, and Thomas said Stephens had been hospitalized for about a month before going home Thursday. KETTERING, Ohio -- Loren Roberts and Craig Stadler both scrambled to rounds of 2-under 69 on Saturday to remain tied for the lead through three rounds of the U.S. Senior Open. They stand at 11-under-par 202 at NCR Country Club.
D.A. Weibring carded a 3-under 68 to move into a tie for third at 8-under-par 205 and was joined there by Raymond Floyd, who won the PGA Championship at NCR in 1969. Floyd shot a 69 on Saturday.

GRAND BLANC, Mich. -- Vijay Singh fired a 9-under 63 in the third round Saturday to extend his lead to five shots at the Buick Open. Singh stands at 22-under-par 194, which tied the 54-hole scoring record that Kenny Perry set in 2001.

SOUTHPORT, England -- Jeong Jang fired a 4-under-par 68 in nasty conditions Thursday to take the first-round lead at the suspended Women's British Open.
Jang was one of just six players who scored under par during the round, which was hampered by rain, chilly temperatures in the 50s and a pesky wind.
